Trichostema lanatum - Woolly Blue Curls

Evergreen shrub to 4 ft. Fragrant, narrow green leaves. Spikes of fuzzy blue-violet flowers in summer smell delightfully like grape candy. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators. Great in a rock garden. Beautiful cut flower. Endemic to Southern California. Full sun, low water. No summer water once established. Needs excellent drainage. Hardy to 10º F.
