Perennial herb to 4 ft tall by 2 ft wide. Delicate, compound green leaves resemble those of the Western Columbine (Aquilegia formosa). Tall, slender inflorescences rise high above foliage in spring. Great under oaks. Part sun to shade. Low water, accepts regular watering. Tolerates a variety of soils, including clay. Hardy to 15º F
