Symphoricarpos albus var. laevigatus - Snowberry

Deciduous ground cover to 5 ft tall and spreading by rhizome. Lovely understory planting, with delicate pink flowers in spring that attract hummingbirds, followed by white berries that attract song birds. Do not consume berries. Full sun along the coast to bright shade inland. Deer resistant. Moderate water. Fruiting increased by supplemental water in the summer. Tolerates clay and serpentine soils. Hardy to 10º F
