Stachys stebbinsii - Hedge Nettle

Evergreen perennial to 4+ ft tall. Fragrant green leaves and beautiful spikes of whitish pink flowers in spring and summer. Endemic to Southern California and Baja California. Excellent hummingbird and butterfly plant. Part sun along the coast to shade inland. Appreciates some supplemental water. Tolerates a wide variety of soils, including clay soils and sandy soils. Hardy to at least 32º F
