Sisyrinchium bellum - Blue Eyed Grass

Semi-evergreen perennial to 1 ft. Forms a clump of grassy looking leaves. Long-lasting display of sweet little purple-blue flowers throughout spring and summer. May go dormant during the hottest parts of summer. Divide and transplant in winter. Full sun on coast to part shade inland. Low to moderate water, looks best with supplemental water. Tolerates a wide variety of soils. Hardy to 10º F.
