Salvia ‘Pozo Blue’ - Grey Musk Sage

Evergrey shrub to 3 -4 ft. Extremely tough hybrid of S. clevelandii and S. leucophylla, selected by Las Pilitas Nursery. Highly fragrant grey-green leaves, with whorls of lilac flowers in summer. The flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies; quail and other birds eat the seeds. Full to part sun, low water. Tolerates a wide range of soils, including sandy, clay, and alkaline soils. Hardy to 5º F.
