Salvia 'Celestial Blue' - Celestial Blue Sage

Evergreen shrub to 3 - 5 ft. Delightfully aromatic silver-green leaves. Gorgeous whorls of deep blue flowers set in red-purple calyxes. Hybrid of S. clevelandii and S. pachyphylla, possibly some S. leuchophylla in the mix. Attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies, especially swallowtails. Prune after bloom to maintain form. Full sun to part shade. Low water. Tolerates a wide variety of soil types. Hardy to 15º F.
