Salvia brandegeei - Santa Rosa Island Sage

Evergreen shrub to 4 ft tall by 5 ft wide. Fragrant dark green leaves with pale blue to lavender flowers in spring that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. A rare plant native to the canyons of Santa Rosa Island and parts of Baja California. Excellent for erosion control. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Low water. Tolerates a variety of soils. Hardy to 0º
