Salvia apiana var. compacta - Compact White Sage

Evergreen shrub to 4+ ft. Aromatic, waxy grey leaves, with spikes of white flowers in spring and summer. Compact form is great for small gardens, and more tolerant of desert conditions. Attracts bumblebees and hummingbirds, provides seeds for quail and other birds. Full sun, low water. Prefers fast draining soils. Hardy to 15º F.
