Romneya coulteri 'White Cloud' - White Cloud Matilija Poppy

Deciduous perennial to 4-5 ft and spreading by rhizomes. Compact selection of species; possibly a hybrid of R. coulteri and R. trichocalyx. Blue green leaves, with fluffy white flowers fluttering in the spring breeze. Blooms last well into summer. Prune back in fall to maintain tidier garden appearance. Tolerates many soil types, including clay soils. Can be invasive in loose, sandy soils. Full sun. Low water. Hardy to 25º F
