Ribes viburnifolium - Catalina Perfume

Evergreen shrub to 3 ft tall by 6 ft wide. Aromatic green leaves on red stems. Small clusters of maroon, star-shaped flowers in the spring. Part shade to full shade. Great under oaks. Tip prune for denser foliage. Drought tolerant once established (especially in clay soils), to moderate water (especially in sandy soils). Hardy to 15º F.
