Ranunculus californicus - California Buttercup

Summer deciduous perennial to 1 - 2 ft. Delicate, slender-stemmed foliage with beautiful glossy yellow flowers in spring. Flowers are adored by bees and butterflies and make great cut flowers. Good understory plant, including under oaks. Full sun to part shade. Low water once established. Tolerates many soil types, including clay and serpentine soils. Hardy to 10º F
