Psorothamnus spinosus - Smoke Tree

Deciduous tree to 10 - 20ft tall and 5 - 10ft wide. Blue-green branches are bare most of the year, with occasional spells of purple flowers in summer. Best for hot, dry gardens. Full sun. Low to no water once established. Requires fast draining soils. Hardy to 15° F.
