Pluchea sericea - Arrowweed

Evergreen shrub to 8 ft and spreading by rhizome. Forms dense colonies of stiff, upright stems covered in silvery leaves. Cute pinkish-purple flowers appear in late spring to the delight of pollinators. Great option for narrow planting beds and for erosion control. Full to part sun. Moderate water. Tolerates many soil types, including clay. Likely hardy to 30º F
