Penstemon palmeri - Scented Penstemon

Evergreen perennial to 2 ft by 4 ft wide, with flower spikes to 4ft. Pale blue-green leaves, with showy and fragrant pink flowers in spring. Attracts hummingbirds and bumblebees. Native to the high deserts of Southern California. Great for hot, dry, sunny spots in the garden. Full sun, low water. Prefers fast draining soils. Hardy to -5º F
