Muhlenbergia dubia - Pine Muhly Grass

Evergreen bunchgrass to 2-3 ft. Native to desert Southwest and Texas. Cream colored inflorescence rising high above finely textured foliage in summer and fall. Visually effective in mass plantings. Half the size of native bunchgrass Muhlenbergia rigens. Full to part sun. Low water once established, stays greener with supplemental summer water. Prefers faster draining soils. Hardy to 10º F
