Monardella villosa - Coyote Mint

Evergreen subshrub to 2 ft tall by 3 ft wide. Fragrant, dark green foliage with clusters of lavender flowers. Great nectar source for native bees and butterflies. Flowers best in full sun. Cut back after blooming to maintain compact form. Full to part sun. Low water. Tolerates clay, sand, and serpentine soils. Hardy to 15º F.
