Evergreen shrub to 6-10 ft. Native to rocky coastal bluffs on the Channel Islands. Waxy green leaves and a stunning display of hibiscus-shaped magenta flowers. Attractive to myriad wildlife including hummingbirds and butterflies. Fast growing, makes an excellent privacy screen. Full to part sun. Low water. Tolerates a wide range of soils; prefers fast draining soils. Hardy to 25º F
