Mahonia repens - Creeping Oregon Grape

Evergreen shrub or ground cover to 2-3 ft tall with low arch- ing branches to 5 ft wide. Clusters of bright yellow flowers in spring followed by dark purple berries. Berries attract song birds. Full sun along the coast, prefers full to part shade in- sland. Low to moderate water, looks best with some supple- mental water. Tolerates a wide range of soils. Hardy to 15° F
