Lonicera hispidula ssp. vacillans - California Honeysuckle

Semi-deciduous vine or trailing ground cover to 6 ft, occasionally with longer branches. Hairy green leaves with clusters of pink tubular flowers in summer, followed by red berries in fall. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and song birds. Full sun along the coast to bright shade inland. Looks best with occasional to moderate summer water. Tolerates clay soils. Hardy to 15º F
