Lepechinia fragrans - Fragrant Pitcher Sage

Evergreen shrub to 4-6 ft. Fuzzy, fragrant leaves and pendant lavender pink flowers in spring. Endemic to LA, Santa Barbara, and the Channel Islands. Good for a north-facing slope. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Appreciates some supplemental water. Tolerates a wide variety of soils, including clay soils and sandy soils. Hardy to 20º F.
