Lepechinia calycina - White Pitcher Sage

Evergreen shrub to 4 ft tall by 2 ft wide. Refreshingly fragrant fuzzy leaves, with white to pale pink flowers in spring and summer. Attracts hummingbirds. Good under oaks. Pinch back to encourage dense, bushy growth. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Low water, appreciates some supplemental water. Fast draining soils. Hardy to -5º F
