Deciduous perennial to 5 ft. Blue-green stems with lush yet ephemeral leaves during the rainy season, followed by brilliant yellow flowers in spring and summer. Very attractive to hummingbirds. Full sun. Great for erosion control. Low water, appreciates occasional supplemental water in summer, which will also extend bloom season. Prefers fast-draining soils. Hardy to 25º F
