Juncus textilis - Basket Rush

Evergreen perennial to 5 ft tall. Clumps of green stems spreading throughout wet areas. Excellent for erosion control, particularly in creeks, stream beds, and freshwater marshes; also great in containers. Prefers full to part sun and regular water. Tolerates standing water and clay soils. Hardy to 20º F.
