Juncus patens - California Grey Rush

Evergreen perennial to 18 inches. Dense clump of blue-green stems. Slowly spreads through wet areas. Fantastic architectural form, great in containers. Subtle but attractive seed heads in summer and fall. Prefers full sun and regular water, tolerates standing water. Drought tolerant once established, especially in partial shade. Hardy to 15º F.
