Evergreen shrub to 4 ft tall by 5 ft wide. Clusters of yellow star shaped flowers bloom from spring through fall. Highly attractive to butterflies and other native pollinators. Excellent choice for a coastal sage scrub restoration garden. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Looks best with occasional supplemental water in summer. Prefers fast draining soils.
