Hazardia detonsa - Island Hazardia

Evergrey subshrub to 3 ft. Silver-white leaves add a lovely silver accent to a mixed border. Golden yellow flowers in spring and summer attract butterflies. Rare plant, endemic to the northern Channel Islands. Great for coastal gardens. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Low water. Usually found in faster draining sites, also tolerates clay soils. Hardy to at least 30º F
