Fragaria chiloensis - Beach Strawberry

Evergreen perennial to 6'' tall and spreading by stolons. Glossy green leaves with white flowers in spring often followed by edible red strawberries (check with us to see if our current crop is fruitful or ornamental). Excellent ground cover, also great in containers. Full sun along coast to bright shade inland. Low to moderate water. Prefers faster draining soils. Hardy to 5º F.
