Eriophyllum confertiflorum - Golden Yarrow

Semi-evergreen perennial to 2 ft. Felty grey stems and leaves topped with heads of little golden-yellow flowers from spring through summer. Big hit with the butterflies! Prune back in late fall or winter to rejuvenate form. Full sun along the coast to part sun inland. Low water, but does appreciate occasional supplemental water in summer. Prefers fast draining soils, tolerates clay and alkaline soils. Hardy to 5º F
