Evergreen subshrub to 2-3 ft. Bears ball-like clusters of raspberry pink flowers in summer that turn bronze as the season goes on. Excellent food source for native pollinators and songbirds. Native to the Channel Islands, adds a nice splash of color for mainland gardens as well. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Low water. Good in clay soils, also tolerates alkaline soils. Hardy to 20º F.
