Evergreen subshrub to 3 ft. Compact, coastal selection of the species. Bears pompom-like clusters of tiny white to pale pink flowers in summer. Flowers darken to an attractive cinnamon brown in fall. Attracts butterflies, native bees, and small birds. Excellent choice for a pollinator garden. Full sun to part shade. Low water. Tolerates a wide variety of soils, prefers fast draining soils. Hardy to 15º F.
