Evergrey subshrub to 2 ft. Rare plant endemic to Ventura County. Forms a low mound of silver leaves, with small clusters of bright yellow flowers in spring and summer. Important habitat plant for native butterflies and beneficial insects. Great for erosion control. Full sun along the coast to part sun inland. Low to moderate water. Prefers clay soils. Hardy to 30º F
