Dudleya pulverulenta - Chalk Dudleya

Succulent rosette to 1 - 2 ft. Grey-green leaves with chalky white coating. Reddish flowers in late spring, attracts hummingbirds. Native to coastal CA. Excellent selection for a rock garden. Plant on a slope or at an angle to mimic natural placement and deter rot. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Low water, needs good drainage. Hardy to 15º F.
