Dudleya nesiotica - Santa Cruz Island Dudleya

Summer deciduous succulent to 6” tall by 1 ft wide. Extremely rare plant, native to Santa Cruz Island. Leaves are green to bright red depending on sun exposure. White star-shaped flowers in spring attract hummingbirds. Excellent choice for a rock garden, also good in containers. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Low water. Prefers fast draining soils. Cold hardiness unknown, protect from freezing temperatures.
