Evergrey shrub to 6-10 ft, usually taller than it is wide. Aromatic silver leaves, with purple flowers from early spring through summer. Native to the Mojave desert; does well in hot, dry, sunny spots in the garden. Full to part sun. Low water. Prefers fast draining soils. Hardy to 20º F
