Deciduous climbing vine to 20 ft. Clusters of creamy, fragrant white flowers spring into summer, followed by feathery seed heads. Good pollinator plant. Can be planted under oaks. Full sun to bright shade inland. Low water once established, looks best with regular to moderate water. Tolerates sand, clay, and serpentine soils. Hardy to -5º F
