Ceanothus thyrsiflorus 'Skylark' - Blue California Lilac

Evergreen shrub to 4 ft. Shiny dark green leaves and royal blue flowers in spring. Blooms later in the season than other Ceanothus. Makes a nice hedge. Excellent choice for a wildlife garden, especially popular with song birds. Superb choice for smaller gardens! Heat and garden tolerant. Full to part sun. Low water. Tolerates sand, prefers heavier soils. Hardy to 10º F.
