Ceanothus 'Tassajara Blue' - Tassajara Blue California Lilac

Evergreen shrub to 6 to 8 ft. Fast growing, upright form with glossy green leaves and lilac blue flowers in spring. Makes a nice hedge. Hybrid of C. arboreus and C. griseus. Attracts insect pollinators and song birds. Tolerates a wide range of soil types, from sandy to clay. Full to part sun. Low water. More “garden tolerant” than most Ceanothus. Hardy to 10° F
