Evergreen shrub or small tree to 12 ft. Covered in clusters of white flowers in winter and spring. Highly attractive to bees and butterflies. Host plant for Pale Swallowtail and several other native butterflies. Great for slope stabilization. Full to part sun. Low water. Prefers faster draining soils but tolerates clay. Hardy to 20º F.
