Bouteloua gracilis 'Blonde Ambition'

Warm-season bunchgrass to 2.5 ft with daintily flagging seed-heads in summer. Seed heads are golden yellow and rise higher above foliage than species. Attractive accent in a mixed border planting. Great for a meadow garden. Can be cut back in the cool season to rejuvenate the form. Full sun to part shade. Low to moderate water. Tolerates many soil types. Hardy to 15º F
