Baccharis salicifolia - Mulefat

Evergreen shrub to 10 ft. Long slender stems with lance-like leaves and pinkish-white flowers nearly year-round. Superb habitat plant, attracts myriad pollinators. Cut back to a few inches above ground in fall to stimulate fresh green growth. Full to part sun. Moderate water. Will go stress deciduous in summer without supplemental water. Tolerates many soil types, including clay. Hardy to 15º F
