Asclepias subulata - Rush Milkweed

Evergreen perennial to 4 ft tall by 4 ft wide. Upright form. Attractive blue-green stems give way to white flower clusters spring through fall. Host plant for the Monarch butterfly. Excellent selection for hot, dry gardens. Full sun. Low water once established. Does best in sandy soils. Hardy to 10ºF.
