Artemisia douglasiana - Mugwort

Semi-deciduous perennial to 3 ft. Aromatic silver-green leaves. Spreads by rhizome, especially in wet areas. Great for erosion control along stream banks or wet garden slopes. Traditionally used for medicinal and ceremonial purposes. Full sun to part shade. Regular water. Tolerates many soil types, from sandy to clay. Hardy to 15º F.
