Artemisia californica 'Montara' - Montara Sagebrush

Everygrey subshrub to 2 ft tall by 6 ft wide. Forms a low mound of aromatic silver foliage. Lovely as a large-scale ground cover. Possibly a naturally occurring hybrid of A. californica and A. pycnocephala. Full to part sun. Low water. Tolerates clay and serpentine soils. Hardy to 15º F.
