Arctostaphylos 'Lester Rowntree' - Lester Rowntree Manzanita

Evergreen shrub to 8 ft. Blue-grey leaves, reddish brown bark, with dark pink flowers in early spring. Hybrid of A. pajaroensis, selected for the garden by Lester Rowntree in the 1940's. Attracts hummingbirds, excellent wildlife plant. Beautiful specimen. Full sun, low-water. Fast-draining soils. Hardy to 15º F
