Acmispon Tomentosus var. Glabriusculus - Wooly Lotus

Winter-deciduous perennial herb to 3 ft. Finely textured green branches give way to bright yellow flowers throughout spring and fall. Forms a low-growing mat of foliage. Great for habitat restoration, erosion control, and as a nitrogen fixer. Host plant for many native bee and butterfly species. Full sun to part-shade inland. Low water. Prefers faster draining soils. Hardy to 30°F.
