Acalypha californica - California Copperleaf

Evergreen shrub to 3 ft tall by 4 ft wide. Finely textured leaves on a neat, compact form. Leaves, stems, and catkin-like flowers all have coppery tones. Excellent choice for smaller planter beds or planted en-masse as a large-scale ground cover. Full to part sun. Low water. Prefers faster draining soils, tolerates clay soils. Hardy to 25º F
